CAKE DECORATING WITH GC COUTURE
What a wonderful way to see in the festive season, amongst a small group of fabulous ladies from the wedding industry, learning how to decorate cupcakes and GC Couture’s outstanding Fruitcake Without the Bits (“FWB”). By eliminating the “bits” and adding a unique blend of spices and alcohol, GC Couture have created a delectable fruitcake that is light, moist and sponge-like in texture – a great alternative to the Traditional Fruitcake!
Our day of sweet indulgence started with us cutting out festive decorations from fondant icing, and piping iced rosettes onto chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. Next we feasted on The Savoy’s finest champagne afternoon tea, serenaded with classical and Christmassy music by Evva the cellist, and then commenced our lesson on how to cover the FWB! And just in case our sweet tooth wasn’t yet completely satisfied, GC Couture showed off their new (and terribly decadent) Indulgence Bar.
GC Couture will be hosting more cake decorating experiences in 2014 at other 5 star hotels and venues, of which details will be announced in the New Year. A fabulously sugar coated fun experience for a bride and her closest girlfriends!
