COLOUR INSPIRATION: PANTONE SPRING 2014
Having been glued to the catwalks of New York, London, Milan and Paris for their respective S/S 2014 collections, we've been inspired to create moodboards reflecting Pantone's Fashion Colour Report for Spring 2014!
Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing wedding moodboards right here on Zouch & Lamare's wedding blog for the following fabulous Pantone shades:
On the left of the palette lie three adaptable pastels:
Placid Blue - a picture perfect, tranquil and reassuring sky blue inducing a sense of peaceful calmness.Violet Tulip - a romantic, vintage purple evoking wistful nostalgia.Hemlock - a summery, ornamental green, providing a decorative touch.
Any of the above versatile pastels can be creatively combined with a bolder shade in the spectrum for an au courant look:
Paloma - a quintessential neutral, interesting enough to be combined with any colour for sophisticated poise.Sand - a lightly toasted and amiable neutral conjuring images of the beach carefree summer days.Freesia - a tropical, floral-inspired shade of blazing yellow.Cayenne - high-pitched red, which adds a dash of spicy heat to neutrals.Celosia Orange - an optimistic, spontaneous hue.Radiant Orchid - a bold counterpart to Violet Tulip.Dazzling Blue - a scintillating, polar opposite to Placid Blue.
