L&J | HENGRAVE HALL WEDDING
This elegant and romantic wedding celebration was hosted at the magnificent Hengrave Hall, a Tudor Mansion in the heart of Suffolk. The Bride and Groom requested lots of candles and a blush pinks and white colour palette with touches of rose gold.
Their Civil Ceremony was held in the impressive Banqueting Hall with an aisle lined by antique gold lanterns and blush chiffon sashes on the backs of white chairs. The top of the aisle was adorned with an overhead floral display hanging from the minstrels, while the signing table boasted two extraordinary pedestal arrangements full of hydrangea and sweet avalanche roses.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a champagne and canapé reception on the West Terrace, where a string quartet entertained with a mix of classical and modern music. We also set up a really fun and interactive Seafood Bar and Gin Parlour which excited guests and got them talking.
Guests were then called through to a 3-course dinner in The Long Gallery. The room was set with a romantic sweetheart table for the Bride and Groom, which was styled with a beautiful meadow of flowers and candles. Tables were named after cities of personal significance to the couple, and place settings showcased rose gold cutlery, blush satin napkins, the palest blush charger plates and gold rimmed glassware. A pianist tickled the ivories with a mix of classical and modern background music.
Following heartfelt speeches, guests witnessed the Bride and Groom cut the cake which was made by the Mother of the Groom, and then moved outside for a fantastic fireworks display. Meanwhile, the Banqueting Hall was transformed for the evening entertainment where guests kicked off their heels and partied the night away on the dance floor.
