J&K | CLARIDGE'S
This couple had their wedding celebration at the iconic Claridge's hotel. The design incorporated a complementary mix of the Groom's classical and elegant taste as well as the Bride's playful personality wanting a speakeasy vibe after dinner. The drinks reception in the French Salon and the dinner in the Drawing Room were styled in a white colour palette. The seating plan was creatively designed using an antique mahogany cabinet which had flowers spilling out of the drawers. The room was scented with Diptyque's floral and romantic Baies candles.
During the wedding breakfast the French Salon was secretly transformed, from where guests had previously enjoyed their drinks reception, into a sexy gentleman's speakeasy with oxblood chesterfields, tiffany lamps and an ornate gramophone - all inspired by the 20s era. Diptyque's Ambre candles were added to the room, to help create a sexier, nightclub feel to the dancing part of the evening. A live swing jazz band and DJ got the guests dancing the night away into the early hours.
